Nabil Baboun

Nabil Baboun is one of the most prominent Palestinian artisans specialising in olive wood carving, with over fifty years of experience. He was born and raised in Bethlehem and began his craft in 1973, establishing his own workshop, which over time has become one of the leading workshops in the region in this field. Baboun works using traditional techniques to create tools and artistic vessels that combine precision with simplicity, reflecting his deep respect for Palestinian olive wood, known for its beautiful grain and durability.
